Wednesday, June 17th 

1:30pm-9:30pm:  Drop-Off of items

  1. Bring your items tagged, clothes on appropriate size hangers prepped & sorted by gender & size.  **There is a 350 clothing limit per Consignor**
  2. Bring your signed Car Seat Wavier, and Crib Waiver (if needed)
  3. After your items are inspected by our Helpers, you will place your items on the sales floor.



Pick up all unsold items - Sunday, June 21st 6:00pm-8:00 pm.

Clothing will be sorted by Consignor number for easy pick up. 

As time allows and depending upon how many Helpers we have, we will continue to sort other items by Consignor number.

We need Consignors selling over 300 items to help with Saturday night sorting or Sunday sorting/breakdown.  Thank you!

Check the "Lost and Found" table and the "Items with No Tag" area.

Your Consignor check will be emailed to you a few days after the sale.

If you are unable to pick up your unsold items, please make arrangements with someone to pick them up for you.That person must have your Eventbrite ticket confirmation email (printed or on phone) and/or personal ID (driver's license).

IMPORTANT: At 8:01 p.m. remaining items are donated to charity. Sorry, no exceptions. 

We are not able to take and store any left-over items for Consignors.  Donations are greatly appreciated!

Clothing Prep

Spring/SummerSale Information: 

We sell children's clothing: Premie - size 16 for boys, and Premie - 16 for Girls. We also sell Maternity clothes.  Junior Clothing will not be accepted.  Coats, Sweaters, dark, heavy clothing will not be accepted.  Winter shoes will not be accepted.  Spring/Summer items include dresses, shorts, short sleeves, swimsuits, sandals, etc in great condition.  Limit: 20 Shoes, 10 best Maternity, & 10 sleepers/pjs.       

350 total clothing limit.

Be picky. Look at your clothing items as if you were going to purchase them for your children. No stained or damaged items will be accepted. Please bring top quality freshly cleaned clothing items. Replace missing buttons, sew loose hems and seams, and clip loose threads. Remember to button all buttons, snap all snaps, zip all zippers before you arrive at drop-off. This will ensure that the clothes you are hoping to sell will look their very best! The newer the item looks and the better it smells, the better it will sell.

Hangers : Please hang clothes so the hanger hook points to the left (like a question mark). Please hang size 0-4 clothing on child-size hangers. Infant clothes hung on adult hangers makes it very hard for a shopper to see its true size. You want your item to sell and look the best it can! Clothing that falls off the hanger onto the floor does not sell well-or at all! Old Navy and many outlet stores are great places to get free hangers. Wal-Mart & Target sell child-size plastic tube hangers at a great price.

Clothing Sets: Sets tend to sell better (under size 6) so match things up if you can. Again, all garments should be hung with the hanger hook pointing left (hanger should resemble a question mark when looking at the front of item). Safety pin to attach clothing sets securely with bottom garment hung on the backside of the shirt at the top of the hanger. This is the best way so both pieces can be viewed without separating them.

Unacceptable Clothing Items:  We will not accept used socks, underwear or undergarments - new in package is fine. 

Onesies and Sleepers must be hung on a hanger.  Clothing items in baggies will be charged $1.00 per bag to be put on a hanger and tagged.

Sports Uniform Shirts and Tshirts  We can not accept personalized little league sports shirts, Upwards, Vacation Bible School, Elementary spirit wear type shirts.  These types of clothing items will not sell!

Pants: Pant-clip hangers are great but if you use a standard hanger, simply use two safety pins to attach the waist of the pants to the top part of the hanger (the 2 slanted sides), then place tape over the pins to prevent sliding.

Price: Remember hanging items need to start at $3.50. If your single hanging item will not bring $3.50 then match it with something else to bring your starting price to $3.50 Make sure you match items of the SAME SIZE!

Tag: Attach tag with a safety pin to the label or upper right of the shirt or upper right front of pants. You can place a piece of clear tape over the pin for extra security. 


Toys are popular sellers at JBF sales.  All toys must be checked for safety recalls before consigning.

Clean all toys thoroughly and please test to make sure that toys and equipment are working properly. Make sure toys contain all working parts. Battery operated toys must include working batteries (these can be purchased inexpensively at the Dollar store).  There is a $1 charge for every battery that is supplied by JBF deducted from Consignor check.

JBF does not accept miscellaneous bagged toys such as Happy Meal toys and bags of random things!

Package: Keeping tags and multiple items attached is essential for your items to sell. Bag all small parts belonging to toys/equipment in Ziplock bags and tape the bag shut with clear packing tape. Fasten the bag securely to the item with ribbon, tape, or zip ties. At JBF we recommend pricing items at 1/3 to 1/4 of retail.
Tag: Attach JBF tag directly to item with clear packaging tape or hole-punch JBF tag after putting clear tape on the top, and tie or zip-tie it to item. If you are selling a big packaged item, it is very helpful to attach a picture to the front so the shopper can see the contents.

Books & Games

Books - Only children's infant, board books, picture books & chapter books, please.  (Parenting books, school curriculum books and adult books do not sell)    

Video Games & video game systems (no Mature games, please)

Games and puzzles must have all pieces. (No “adult content, please.) Check items to ensure they are in great condition.

Package: Use clear, Ziplock bags or clear cling wrap (saran wrap) to hold multiple items together; Tie sets of books together with ribbon/string. Be sure that parts/games to video game systems (such as Vtech) cannot be separated or switched out at the sale.

Price: Prices start at $.50 go up in this category, depending on the item. If you would like a high-priced item placed on the High Value Case next to checkout, please see a Team Leader during Drop-Off.

Tag: When tagging books, please attach your tag to the book with clear tape that can be removed without damaging the item. Blue Painter's Tape works great too! Please do not use masking or double sided tape. For sets or bundles of books, please place them inside a large zip-lock bag or wrap them several times with clear, plastic wrap and then secure the tag to the front of the books.

Infant Items

Nursing Items, feeding items, monitors, safety items, diapering & toileting items, rattles, and more. Please check for safety recalls on all items that you consign. No used pacifiers or infant toothbrushes, please.  These items need to be marked to go half price.

Package: If item has multiple pieces use packaging tape, safety pins or  Ziplock bags to keep items attached together and clearly visible to shoppers. Please - only new pacifiers in a package will be accepted.

Batteries must be included, if applicable.

Price: Price at 1/3 of the retail price. Items in great condition tend to sell very well.

Tag: Attach JBF tag directly to item or Ziplock with clear packaging tape or hole-punch JBF tag and tie it to item or safety pin to item.

Shoe Prep

Shoes:  We are picky about the shoes we accept!  The shoe limit for the Spring/Summer Sale is 20 pairs.

Summer Sale - Sandals, flip flops, tennis shoes, rain boots, cowboy boots and dress shoes in great condition

Winter Sale - Boots, tennis shoes, school and dress shoes in great condition are acceptable.

A Magic Eraser works great to clean up shoes to look their best!

Tagging:  Zip ties or curling ribbon work great to secure shoes together.  Punch two holes in the top of the tag to run the tag through tie or the ribbon.  Smaller shoes or shoes that are hard to attach together can be put in a gallon Ziplock bag.  Shoes tend to easily be seperated from their original shoe boxes so please leave the boxes at home. 


Bedding sizes accepted are bassinet through twin only. We CANNOT accept crib bumpers. Please be selective when selling bedding, blankets, receiving blankets, burp cloths, and towels. New, current and barely used items sell best. Check carefully for stains; shoppers get very disappointed if they find a stain in a bundled blanket once they get home.

Package: Put bedding/crib/bedroom sets together in original packaging or in giant clear plastic bags. Arrange bedding sets inside bag so that shoppers can see all of the items as well as the design/pattern. Secure the bag so that items do not get separated.

Please hang blankets as they sell best this way!
Blankets must be be hung over the cardboard bar of a pants hanger and safety pinned.

Price: Price items 1/3 of the retail price. Tag: Attach JBF tag directly to item with clear packaging tape or pin to the item.

Bags, Infant Carriers, Maternity Accessories etc

Diaper bags, infant carriers, backpacks, lunch boxes, nursing covers, baby carriers, hooded bath towels and kid's purses are great consignment items. Please inspect all items carefully to make sure items have not been recalled, stained, damaged or are missing pieces. 

Package: Please zip-tie items to an adult-size hanger. Price: Price 50% - 75% off retail. Items in great condition tend to sell very well.

Tag: Hole-punch JBF tag and attach it to item with a safety pin,  ribbon, string. If an item contains multiple pieces, be sure all pieces are included and list number of items on JBF tag description.

Unacceptable Items

We are unable to take the following items:

  • adult clothing
  • only new children's underwear/socks/undergarmets in a package will be accepted.  
  • out of season items
  • personalized sports jerseys/VBS/camp shirts
  • general stuffed animals.  Name brand only will be accepted - Disney/popular kid's show characters
  • Rated R Movies or Adult/Mature themed video games
  • VHS movies
  • Parenting books, curriculum books, adult books
  • antiques/vintage toys
  • Party supplies/scrapbooking supplies
  • upholstered chairs and couches (the only exception is dining room chairs or bar stools
  • exercise equipment  (treadmills, stationary bikes)
  • electronics (TV's, DVD players, etc.)
  • kitchen/household appliances,(toasters, curling irons, dishes, coffee pots)
  • twin, full, queen or king mattress sets
  • baby crib bumpers
  • pet items
  • Consignors can not bring more than 300 clothing items to Drop Off

Q: Where is your sale?
A: The Nytex Sports Centre in North Richland Hills

Q:  What type of payment do you accept?
A:  We accept cash, MC, and VISA

Q:  What can I use to shop with?
A:  You can bring a "canton cart" or a laundry basket with a belt attached to drag along.  Strollers/wagons are allowed on presale and on our open to the public days.  Many shoppers prefer the IKEA type shopping bags that we provide. They are much easier than pushing a stroller through the crowd on presale day.

Q:  Why must I prepay my Consignor Fee?
A:  By prepaying the fee on Eventbrite the Consignor show up rate tends to be much higher.  Since we are limited on the number of items at this location, it allows us to know how many items consignors can consign.  It also helps us to make the sale the best it can be because of committed consignors!

Q:  Is there a limit to the number of items that can be consigned?
A:  There is a 350 clothing limit. We ask that you include only 20 of your best shoes, 10 of your best maternity items and 10 of your best sleepers./pjs   Only 5 name brand stuffed animals will be accepted (Disney, Build A Bear. Popular TV Shows) Other than what is listed above there is not a limit on items such as baby equipment and toys.  We expect each consignor to sell their very best items and continue to improve the high-quality reputation expected at a JBF sale.

Q: Do you accept shoes?
A: Yes.  We are pretty picky about the shoes we accept. So please just bring us your very best seasonally appropriate shoes!  Shoes will be checked at Inspection.  Limit of 20.

Q. Who can consign their items and become a seller?
A. Anyone can consign their children's items, maternity items and household furniture with Just Between Friends.

Q. Do consignors get to shop before the public? What about Guests? 
A. Yes,  each consignor will also receive 1 guest pass to give to a friend.

Q. What percentage of the sales do I receive?
A. Consignors receive 60% of their sales less a consignor fee.  The Consignor Fee must be paid ahead of time through Eventbrite.com. Team Members earn 70%.

Q. Who does the pricing?
A. You set your own price and you get to decide if it is discounted on our half-price day. Clothing must be priced no less than $3. You may group items together if needed to meet the minimum.

Q. How do I sign up to consign?
A. Log in and create an account, then select the event you want to participate in.

Q. How long should I give myself to drop off my items?
A. It typically takes about 30 mins to check in and drop off your items. You will place your items in the designated areas around the sales floor. It is helpful to bring a wagon or other large container to drop off your items.

Q. When and where do I drop off my items?
A.  Drop off items at The Nytex Sports Centre in NRH.  Drop Off is from 1:30pm-9:30pm

Q. When do I pick up my unsold items?
A. Unsold items are to be picked up on Sunday from 6:00-8:00pm. All items not picked up at that time will automatically be donated. 

Q. What if I can't make the pickup time work for my schedule?
A. You are welcome to have a friend pick up your items for you. You will need to indicate this on your consignor waiver during drop-off.  Please give your waiver to the person picking up your items.

Q. Do I have to sort through the racks to find my unsold items?
A. No, when you pick up your unsold items, your hanging garments will already be sorted by Consignor# for easy pickup. As time and help allows, we hope to have all of the other items sorted, too, otherwise, it will be up to you to visit our posted areas to find items other than clothing.

Q. How long does it take to receive my check?
A. Your check will be emailed within 3-5 business days after the sale ends.

Q. Will I know what items have sold?
A. The online tagging system is quick and easy and will give you a list of what has sold, when, and for how much. Tags that do not scan properly will not show up in the system as sold, but they will be reflected on your check.  Tags will be uploaded automatically upon sale, and then again each evening of the sale around midnight.

Q. Where do I find safety pins and child-sized hangers?
A. Safety pins are easily found at Wal-mart, Target, Dollar stores, or any craft supply store.  Adult wire hangers work for sizes 4 & up.  You can safety pin your item to the adult size hanger in order to ensure that it does not slip off.

Q. If I consign my items, do I have to stay during the sale?
A. No. Consignors drop off their items and put them out on the sales floor during the designated drop-off times and come back during the designated times to pick up any unsold items.

Q. What sizes do you accept?
A. We accept newborn through size 16 girls and boys.  Adult sizes can not be accepted.

Q.  Are there any unacceptable clothing brands?
A.  Any brand that you can buy brand new in the store for less than $5.00 typically do not sell.

Q. What about stuffed animals?
A. We will accept battery operated stuffed animals and name brand CHARACTER stuffed animals (Disney, popular TV shows) General/Carnival type stuffed animals will not be accepted!  Please limit your name brand stuffed animals to 5.  Thank you!

Q.  What about bedding?
A.  We can not accept bedding that has a crib bumper includeded.  Sheets and blankets are acceptable.

Q.  What Items Sell Best?
A. Outdoor & riding toys, large baby equipment, large plastic toys, popular character toys (Thomas, Disney, American Girl...) good quality/brand clothes that are not over-priced.  Items marked to go half price also sell better!

Q.  What Items typically do not sell?
A.  Over-priced items, things that you can buy brand new & cheaper in the store, dirty, wrinkled, stained, broken, freebies from the hospital, and nursery decor such as frames.

Q. Can anyone sign up as a Team Member and attend the Team Member presales?
A. Only Consignors can be Team Members.

Q. Can I bring a guest to the Team Member presale?
A. Team Members may not bring guests.  Each pre-sale pass is good for one person to enter the presale.

Too busy to tag your kids stuff?
We have a solution...we will tag for you, we call it our VIP Service. 

WE CURRENTLY HAVE A WAITING LIST FOR SPRING TAGGING - You are welcome to fill out the form and we will do our best to make it happen!  Please be very specific on the amount and types of items that you need tagged.  

VIP Consignors earn 40% - 50% 
Just pay your 
consignor fee or (NO consignor fee if you REDUCE and DONATE) all your items!  VIP Consignors do have a Supply Fee.  Let someone else do the work for you!  It's SO easy!

**You provide the clean clothing items in boxes or storage containers and we will deliver them tagged and ready to the sale. Items must be free of stains and toys must have all working parts & batteries.  

VIP Tagging is available only to a limited number of consignors for each sale.  Please complete the Google Form to register as a VIP Consignor.  Drop-off of items for valet begins now and ends two weeks prior to the sale!


After the sale is over, unsold items can be a tax deductable donation. JBF will mail you a check for a percentage of what your items sell minus any fees!
